I wanted to gain weight or die trying at this point. I've had it.
I've already wasted 6 years and was on pace to lose 60 more, probably.
I'll never forget when I pushed all of my chips in and committed to my weight gaining journey.
I nose dived into dozens of books, hundreds and hundreds of online articles, watched hundreds of Youtube videos (this was before Instagram fitness stars existed...I just aged myself a little)...
I put everything into action that seemed credible. I was no longer afraid of trying OR playing BIG. I went IN.
2013 - 2014 were my breakthrough years where I gained MOST of my 38lbs total while still maintaining a year-round 6 pack.
Today my new day-to-day maintenance weight is close to 180lbs, well over 40lbs heavier than when I was STUCK in 2007.
(This means even when I have a few bad weeks, my weight does not drop lower than 170lbs.)
It's CRAZY for me to think about because I still remember when I thought gaining any weight was impossible! So how did I do it? What were my breakthrough's that worked for me and will work for you?!
